Learn about the proposed Social Housing Law (A6265/S5674) that would establish a public authority to increase the supply of permanently affordable housing in the state through the acquisition of land and renovation or rehabilitation of existing real property, and through the construction of new, permanently affordable housing.

Presentation followed by breakout visioning sessions where local leaders and community members can collaborate to discuss what housing in WNY can and should look like in the future with a discussion focused on the derelict building and surrounding lot at 71 Niagara St.
